Roy Sheahan's campaign came to a sudden end in round one of his quarter-final bout at the European Senior Boxing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. With a minute gone and the score at 3-3 the Georgian caught Sheahan with a peach of a shot which sent the Athy man to the canvas.
